4 Hole Flange Bearing Units

4 Hole Flange bearing units consist of a housing with 4 radial holes for mounting and a ball bearing inserted within the centre of the housing. Flange bearings are designed to be mounted against a horizontal or vertical face/bulkhead etc. The housing is manufactured from cast iron with the assembly suitable for low torque applications. Two types of flanged bearing units are available; normal duty and medium duty. Accommodated shaft diameters range from 20mm – 3/4” up to 80mm – 3” .

• Gcr15 high carbon chromium bearing steel is the standard material for bearing rings and balls
• Stainless steel shields are available
• Seals are Buna Nitrile and fluorocarbon, silicon and Teflon seals are available for special applications
• Retainers for corrosive environment, misalignment or high speed applications are available in stainless steel, nylon or phenolic resins
