Pillow Blocks

Pillow blocks consist of a housing (pillow block), with slotted holes for mounting and a ball bearing inserted within the housing. The housing is manufactured from cast iron with the assembly suitable for low torque applications. Two type of Pillow blocks are available; normal duty and medium duty. Split plummer block bearings are available for heavier duty applications. Accommodated shaft diameters range from 20mm – 3/4” up to 80mm – 3” .

Tapered roller
Available in both metric and imperial (inch) sizes
• Gcr15 high carbon chromium bearing steel is the standard material for bearing rings and balls
• Stainless steel shields are available
• Seals are Buna Nitrile and fluorocarbon, silicon and Teflon seals are available for special applications
• Retainers for corrosive environment, misalignment or high speed applications are available in stainless steel, nylon or phenolic resins
